Fineold collectors piece. Collected in 1960’s this is a vintage African mask fromthe Igbo, Nigeria. This type of mask is used during the rainy seasons indancing ceremonies. Hand carved (adzed) from a single piece of wood, with colorpigments. Usage traces and drying cracks. Beautiful patina.
