Vintage Trifari sterling silver jelly belly bug pin
This beautiful iconic pin measures 1 3/4 inches across at the bottom of the wings, and stands 1 7/8 inches tall. It is very good condition with no missing stones. There is some wear to the vermeil but not bad. This was found with no pin. I replaced it with the exact kind used in other jelly belly pins (just the straight pin part), the only difference is it is a bit longer. I am very pleased by the outcome. It is straight, has nice tension with just a little wiggle at the connector spot. I don\'t think you could tell the difference if I wasn\'t telling you now! The rhinestones are clear and sparkly, and both blue eyes are intact. There is a very small amount of dullness on top part of lucite but no scratches. The back also looks good and is signed in 3 places. One says Crown Trifari, one says sterling, and the last one reads Des Pat No 137200. This seems to be a harder color to come by, have not seen alot of them on the internet. I think you will be pleased,as this is a very fine example.
