You are offerding on one very cool, vintage Turner Starburst / Sunburst clock. This clock has a gold and grayish/white face (it looks blue in the pictures but it is not). The 3, 6, 9, & 12 are gold raised numbers while the other hours re represented by raised gold diamond shapes. The hour and minute hands are gold and have a very mid-century feel. This clock has a domed lid that opens up to expose the winding mechanism. The lid is hinged and easily opens and closes. The TURNER brand is embossed in the gold section. You simply turn the minute hand to set the correct time.The outer rim of the clock has a nice pattern on it. The starburst/sunburst pattern goes all around the clock with 6 large points and 6 smaller points in an antiqued gold. It is a fairly large clock measuring almost 2\' long and about 19\" wide. The face of the clock is about 8\" wide. The back of the clock houses the clock mechanism. It says \"Made in France\" and has a little door with a plus and minus sign to make the clock gain or lose time as needed. It also has two spots you can choose from to hang it from. There\'s a hanger on the clock mechanism and one on the top burst. Not being an expert on clocks, I don\'t know why this clock won\'t wind. It could be a very minor fix but I can\'t tell you for sure. It is otherwise in pretty good shape. Besides the minor scuffs and aging on the bursts, the tarnish spot on the face and the scratches on the back, this clock looks great. Nice piece to hang and admire.
