This was quite a find. New old store stock. It is a little Navy uniform (pants and top) made in the 1960\'s for a Shirley Temple doll featuring \"The Good Ship Lollipop\". It is professionally made of 100% navy blue wool. The top has the attached, standard, navy blue, yoke-style collar, made also of wool. There are white applied, triple stripes, on the collar, and each cuff. There is an insert at the v-neck which snaps onto the uniform, with the stripes, as well. The pants are wide bell-bottoms, with an elastic waist. The reason I give a range of doll heights (28 - 31\") is because the waist on the pants can be rolled, to make them shorter. I will include a 32\" piece of the 2-sided, red satin ribbon so that you can make your own tie. This little uniform is mint, immaculate, and has been boxed and stored since it was produced. It is in like-new condition. I have put some of my Dad\'s old U.S. Navy pins and ribbons onto the uniform. I wish my Dad could see that I am thrilled to be able to use them this way, so I can see them everyday. This sailor suit is extremely well made. Everything about it is high quality. I have a few of these, but not very many. When they are gone - they\'re gone. Don\'t let this opportunity pass you by, and don\'t forget that girls can be sailor\'s, too.
