This beautiful Lodge Manufacturing/Blacklock? Cast Iron skillet is from 1900-1910. The No. 7~ 10\" inch skillet has been completely restored. There is no chips, cracks or repairs to this skillet. The Skillet has double poor spouts. Pan measures 10\" x 2 1/4\" with a 4 1/4\" handle. The skillet has no rocking or wobbling. The handle is stamped with a #7 on top. The back side has a notched heat ring at 12 O\'clock position and a raised \"F\" stamped at the 6 O\'clock position.
*I am no expert. Be sure to do your own research and offer accordingly. By the research I have done on the web no one really knows what a true Blacklock looks like only speculation.By the markings and in formation from the \"Cast Iron Collector\" website it resembles a Blacklock.
Restored:*When we are unable view the iron of the pan due to excessive black buildup or rust. We use a soft blasting process to remove the excess build up on a pan. We soft blast the pan down to bare iron so we are able to inspect for cracks or any repairs that might have been made.
*We seasoned the skillet only once with Crisco Vegetable Shortening. If you would like the darker skillet it will get there over time from use. (But we also have un-blasted black pre-seasoned skillets that have been checked for cracks or repairs.)
The restored skillet has a goldenbrown sheen finish.(No, it\'s not painted)
