Beautiful Vintage VALLES FURS Tourmaline Mink Coat. Made in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. Late 40\'s/ early 50\'s.
NOTE: I was TOLD by my grandmother it was Tourmaline Mink (?) I do not know for sure !
Knee length. Large collar can be worn down over shoulders or propped up high around neck. Open front. Embroidered interior lining. Two interior slit pockets. Silvery Blond varied color. True coloris shown in photos 1, 3 & 4. The other photos are shown with an over head lightthat had anamber color cast to it.
Pre owned rarely worn and in very, very good condition with NO issues at all. NO stains, rips, tears, mattingetc. Integrity of all fabric, stitching and fur is in great condition. Was kept in cold storage for many,many years but not the last 12 years.
It is a Medium size approximately a 9-11 regular. Lining appears to be satin (?)
Measurement are:
Shoulder to hems edge length-38\", sleeves length-25\", Interior circumference around chest- 46\" and shoulder seam to shoulder seam across back- 16 1/2 inches. ( not measured end to end of shoulder)
This a Beautiful and exceptional mink coat !
