Vintage Vienna Bronze snake - over 6 inches long, mold number 956:

This sale is for an interesting vintage Vienna Bronze figure of a large snake. He measures over 6 inches from the tip of his tail to the bend in his body that is furthest away. From the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail is 5 2/3 inches. From the highest bend in his neck to the ground is 1 2/3 inches. The scale pattern on his body is very intricately cast in. The eye on the right side is nicely cast, the one on the left hand side is about worn completely smooth. In the middle of the underside of his belly are at least 3 cast in numbers. They look to me like 956. I don\'t see any other makers marks. He\'s a very old piece, but he is missing a lot of finish.He came in a lot with the some other Vienna Bronzes I have up for sale this week (salamander, cat with violin, bird of paradise / pheasant) and some Heydes (a devil with top hat, boy with donkey, troll with chisel, fox hunter with dogs).I guarantee him to be an old, original Vienna Bronze from late 1800\'s early 1900\'s. If you get him and think otherwise you can return him for a full refund of your purchase price and the shipping both ways. In the last picture, for size perspective I show her with a blue Mignot artillery soldier who is 2 1/8 inches tall -- the Mignot is not included in this sale. Handling time: I do my best to mail packages out the day after I get payment. If I receive payment before 9:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time (U.S.) I will have it in the mail the next day, except for Sunday because U.S. Post Offices are not open on Sunday.

U.S. Shipping: I use First Class (up to 16 oz) and Priority mail after that. Books ship media mail. I only charge actual postage - no added fees. I combine multiple items won by the same person the same day and charge actual postage. If you\'re looking to buy other items not ending yet just let me know and I\'ll hold the shipment to combine them for you.I use lots of bubble wrap and peanuts and good boxes. In a group of multiple pieces each item is wrapped individually. Whenthere is an original box or other original paper item I put that into a plastic bag in case you get delivery on a rainy day.

International Shipping: I gladly ship international. First Class International is available up to 4 pounds in weight, after that it has to be Priority mail which is expensive. Please note that there can be lengthy delays at Customs. Per rules, import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges -- these charges are the buyer\'s responsibility.

Return Policy: Returns are accepted within30 days, so long as item is returned in the condition that it was in when it was sold. If the item was misrepresented I will refund the postage both ways. If the item was not misrepresented, I will refund the purchase price only -- not the shipping paid to get it to you, or for you to return it. I use a loupe to examine the toys while I\'m listing them, and I try and mention the significant condition issues that I can see. I value my reputation and I am not knowingly going to put out false or misleading info on a toy -- if I\'m wrong about a fact about the toy I\'ll refund your money.
