Virginia Dan was known for her figure and portrait paintings.

Virginia Dan studied at the Art Center School, Chouinard Art Institute, UCLA, The Otis Art Institute and The Pruett Center. Her influencers were: Frank Branny, Dean Cornwell, Robert Fawcett, Nicolai Fechin, Repin and Sorolla.

In very good condition.

The colors are bright and vibrant.

The frame and matte show just a little wear. The artwork shows just a little age.

Painted in the mid 1970\'s.

This Artist Proof rested safely in a closet for many years.

Time for it to find a new home.

Virginia Dan was born in 1922 in California.

She died in2014 in Californiaafter a noteworthy careeras an artist.
