Vintage Volkstedt Porcelain Dresden Lace, Horse Drawn Carriage Figurine, PERFECT:
$4000.00

A Volkstedt Carriage Figurine made in Germany.

This is a four piece set that includes the carriage section, the horse section, the lidand the horse shaft...

(Most are just one piece, maybe two)

Thisis a beautiful hand painted carriage in porcelain. Huge, Magnificent Volkstedt is a stunning, museum quality, massive find for serious collectors!

The majestic carriage is drawn by the four beautiful horses. A footman rides on the back with a driver in the front. Two ladies ride inside looking out the windows, on their way to the Coronation, with the removable decorative lid above them. The removable lid is fabulous with angels and a dolphin, with the future Queen\'s crown in the center. There are four dolphins on each of the corners on the lid.

When the main two pieces are put set-up together, it measures a dramatic 38 inches long. It is about 14-15 inches high.

It is one of the largest that I have ever seen. There is abundant gold on the pieces and incredibly detailed. It is lovely.

There are no broken or glued pieces.

The lace is perfect. It is all there.

The fingers are perfect and they are all there.

The ears of the horses are all there.

Usually there is lace missing, or the horse ears are broken,or the fingers are missing. Not on this one.

There are no hairlines, cracks, fractures and no paint loss. The porcelain and paint itself is perfect.

The porcelain is perfect to my eye, but the leather connecting the shaftto the leather drives lines do need to be replaced due to age. However, the shaft is perfect and lays between the horses.

It has been pointed out to me, that at one point, the crown on the lid may have had a tiny cross on it. I don\'t know if this is fact or not but there is no tiny cross on the tiny crown.

Thereis another one, like this one but with broken fingers, lace and ears, that sold at Christies, for $5,500.00 plus buyers fees...

I am not interested in giving this item away for a low offer. It is pristine and there is no reason to greatly reduce the price.

Also, I have had several offers to sell to Russia. The shipping, at this time to Russia,

due to the U.S. sanctions, is HORRIBLE and I cannot lift it regardless.

This piece is pick-up only or youwill needto arrange shipping. I cannot lift it. Please don\'t write meabout shipping. I don\'t ship it.

I will be happy hand the item over to ashipper of your choice

but you need to arrange it and make all the payments to them. Or you are free to pick it up after payment is received.

Sale is final
