1938 W. and L.E. Gurley alidade, Serial no. 381021 ( made in 1938, 1021st made that year). In original mahogany box that someone has painted green with the name L. O. Casselmann on the top, also has various info cards attached inside. All dials work smoothly and the optics are perfect. Misc. equipment inside box (see pics.). This was apparently used by University of Notre Dame departments ( I think that is the U.S.E.D. engraving).Very rare, beautiful and working collectible! Leather carrying strap is broken. No tripod.
