****My parents found this in an old storage unit. It appears to be in original condition (even the original rubber band holding it)! We took it out of the main box (not included) and unfolded it right before listing. \"This is an \"evasion\", \"survival\" or \"escape\" vintage map; these light-weight \"silk\" maps (actually most were man-made fabrics) were carried by military personnel with missions in enemy territory, each map showing information important to facilitating escape to friendly territory, such as telegraph lines, mangrove swamps, springs etc. Varying elevations indicated by color. Winds and ocean currents are marked, as well as much information on settlements and terrain.\"
