This is a WW2 Pepsi Cola Recording from the \"Man in Service\" program. The sender was____ Lundgren From possibly Lompoc,Calif. The to: is hard to read but could be, Mrs Thelma Hedron, Rs - B461 , Olympia Wash. The postmark has no date but has the location as OMPOC, which I think stands for \"Organizational Messaging Point of Contact\"
The postage stamp is Martha Washington 1 1/2 cents
The record seems to be in very good condition, there are no scratches that I can find. The back side of the record shows some aging but the recording should be able to be played as intended. I can only guess that it would be played at 78/45 RPM, common at that time. I don\'t have a way to play it so the contents will be very interesting, If you buy it I would really like to know what was on the disk if you can listen to it. It will be a trip back in time and a tiny bit of someones view of what they were going through during a very stressful time in history.
Thanks for looking
