WWII Era Military Corning Mess Hall Bowl - Thick Heavy OpaqueThis is the heavy Corning glassware that mess halls used during the 40s. This cereal bowl is is a creamy off-white and is thicker than the pieces we are used to today. It\'s very difficult to even see light through it. The raised markings on the base include the Corning glassblower trademark (a little man that looks like he is blowing a horn but who\'s actually blowing glass), along with the following:Corning

Made in USACondition: Top rim and the bowl itself inside and out are crack and chip free. I see some tiny fleabites along the ridge on the base -- shouldn\'t affect anything but just want you to know this is not perfect. Also there are the normal utensil marks which is to be expected.Size: 5-1/2\" diameter, 2-1/2\" high, 3\" base
