8 3/8\" long silver plate (probably) serving spoon marked Gorham ATA. It is also marked The Waldorf-Astoria Hotel Co. which now dates it at 1931. I believe that is the age because I don\'t think they made flatware with their name on it shortly after that time. Lovely King pattern with extra above the shell and down the handle of the spoon. There is a wreath monogram, but I can\'t make out the lettering, if any, in the center. Normal usage you would expect from a hotel spoon. Couple of tiny pits in bowl and scratches or dings. Some wear on the silverplate on the base of the spoon, will photograph to show wear. I would expect more. Back only has some usage marks, the signature W-A leaf motif on edge of bowl to handle and the markings from the first and second sentences. Weighs just over 3 oz.
