For your consideration is a 1942 vintage military wristwatch. The caseback is labeled ORD. DEPT. U.S.A. OC-192201. This is watch in good condition being that it was made over 75 years ago. I have replaced the crystal but included the original yellow/green crystal with the watch. This is an authentic US Military watch from the early days of World War 2. The watch runs well and keeps decent time (losing about 4 minutes a day). The time sets as it should. The movement is labeled Waltham Premier Nine Jewels 6/0 42. The case is nickel plated and it is about31mm wide not including the crown. It is about 38mm from tip to tip if lugs.The case has been cleaned but it has not been polished. It retains it\'s original patina with wear and scratches that many will find appealing in a watch of this type and era. This comes with a New 16mm Green NATO strap which could easily be replaced if you prefer a different style. The dial isoriginal and is depicted accurately in the pictures. Please note that all pictures are taken on the macro setting. This makes even the slightest imperfections and specks of dust appear much more prominent. They are often not visible without magnification.
