On this sale is another German lidded stein. This one is from Western Germany and is about 9\" tall. It\'s from 1949 to no later than 1970, but this looks early to me. Great deep cobalt blue color. No chips, cracks or problems. Lid fits and works as it should. Says, \"Ein Lustig Lied Macht Froh Gemut\" (Translation: \"A jolly song makes for a happy mind\") Marked Made in Western Germany and has #479 under handle. Get a great stein to add to your collection and a bit of history too as Western Germany is no more so there will not be anymore marked Made in Western Germany.
