The Wilton Company has been making proprietary metalware for quite some time.Their vintage pieces are becoming harder and harder to find. Here is the Reverse of their double Trivet set of the Morgan Silver Dollar from 1878.This piece is HUGE 11 & 7/8 inches across. You could serve any centerpiece on there hot or cold.I\'ve never seen one of these before so I thought I better bring it to matket.The RWP hallmark is viewable at the base of the Eagles tail feathers.Here\'s a short history of the Wilton company from the net, no one else may manufacture Armetale but them.Wilton Brass was established in 1954 in Columbia, Pennsylvania, and offered brass objects made for industry and consumers. In 1963 this company developed another metal from an aluminum based alloy which it called \"ARMETALE\". By the late 1960\'s the Armetale products overshadowed the brass offerings. The company continued to be known as the \"Wilton Brass Company\" until well into the 1980\'s, while still making Armetale.
