This necklace came from our great aunt\'s estate. The animals appear to be hand carved and painted but we do know where or exactly when it was purchased We do know she traveled the world extensively between 1950 to 1970. There is also a mix of wooden, ceramic and glass beads. It measures about 46\" long but can be adjusted depending on how it\'s tied. The camel (or what we think is a camel) measures about 3 1/4\" high x 3\" long. Please inspect the photos carefully as some of the paint has chipped or worn off from the animal pieces, but still one of the nicest ones we have seen.
