For the angel lover! Here is a really beautiful vintage wooden wood Erzgebirge Germany Christmas ornament that depicts an angel blowing her horn in a shaved wooden hoop. It is hand carved and painted/stained. I was told these are very old. I received a very large lot of vintage wooden German ornaments from a seller in the Erzgebirge region of Germany. They are not labelled or marked, but the small box they came in has a label on one side that says \"Made in GDR\". Each one was still wrapped in the original tissue paper (not included). A bit of fraying of the shaved wood hoop(see final picture that shows the wear on the hoop-this could easily be sanded down) and hang string, and minor age related marks to the wood are noted. It is about 3 1/2\" tall total, and the angel is about 2 1/4\" or so tall. The angel is carved from one single piece of wood-nice detailing! I have a similar one listed at this time.
