Here is a delightful vintage wooden wood Erzgebirge Germany Christmas ornament. It depicts a Santa sitting in his hot air balloon-his 2 little presents dangle from thin gold string, and he has a mica glass covered bottle brush tree attached to his side. The total ornament height is about 3 1/4\" tall, and Santa is about 1 1/4\" tall. The ornament is hand painted and is in beautiful condition, with very minor paint loss and color rubs. I received this with a very large lot of vintage wooden German ornaments from a seller in the Erzgebirge region of Germany. It is not labelled or marked. These ornaments get scarcer as time goes on.
