This rustic old match holder would fit perfectly in a log cabin or country kitchen. It is made out of wood (I was really tempted to get out the wood cleaner and make it shiny, but I know that real experts and collectors like to do it themselves). But it is clean and has a handy opening on the side to light the match without getting the box out.
It measures 3 1/2 x 7 x 3\" and has a round 1/4\" hole for easy wall mounting. The rooster decoration looks like copper and there is a gold/green VG Japan sticker on the back of the match holder, next to a stamp Victor Goldman Inc.
