This sweet little purse for dolly looks to have been handmade. I’d estimate its age in the 1940s. Made of wool felt in robin’s egg blue, it was carefully constructed with a contrasting pink lining and lots of pinking detail. It boasts little millinery flowers, a silver button and even a checked lining. It has some surface soiling and some spots of moth checking along with several tiny regular holes that were probably in the original fabric. This little handbag measures about 3 ½” tall (not including the handle) and 3 ¾” across the base. Perfect for the medium to larger dolly.
