My father brought this kit back from World War II and stored it in his garage. The kit is 2.5\" tall x 1.75\" wide x 1\" deep. It\'s a stainless steel burner for field medics. I don\'t believe the kit was ever used since the wick is clean. The kit exterior is tarnished and scratched. The lid locks tightly. The burner can be removed from the bottom of the kit as shown in the pictures.
