Vintage ZUNI Sterling and Turquoise Cuff Bracelet Signed GGThis is a vintage, beautifully smithed woman\'s cuff bracelet made by a Zuni silversmith who signs with GG initials and ZUNI underneath. This cuff has 5 gorgeous turquoise stones laid horizontally in large petal like bezels. The stones are organic in shape and a gorgeous robin\'s egg blue with caramel matrix. Two raindrop beads frame each stone. Scalloped rope braid stamping is on the top and bottom of the band all the way to the terminals. The terminal ends with more stamping. Good detail all the way through. The inside of the cuff\'s center is stamped GG with ZUNI below. Some attribute this hallmark to Gloria Jean Garcia who is well known jewelry artisan Effie Calavaza\'s aka Effie C\'s daughter. Both do sign with ZUNI under their name, but there is no way to know definitively.This cuff is not stamped sterling but it definitely is. The cuff measures an inside circumference of 6 1/2\" including the opening. The opening for the wrist to slip through measures 1 1/4\". The inside measurement from side to side is 2 3/8\" across. The inside measurement of the cuff front to back is 1 6/8\". The cuff measures 1/2\" High all the way around. It weighs 29.7 grams.This is an outstanding bracelet to add to your collection. The turquoise is a beautiful color and all stones are in great shape and secure in their mounts. The silver is shiny and in great condition as well. The smithing is precise and well done. This cuff is very feminine with a refined touch. It feels great on the wrist - not too heavy and burdensome. Wear it alone or with all your other Southwest jewelry.
