Vintage Zodiac 970 17J Wristwatch w/Etched Watch Band Sterling Mexico Signed RSS:

This is a vintage wind up Zodiac 970 17 Jewels Running Wristwatch with a beautiful sterling watch band. The watch is running and keeping good time. The dial has wear (see photos). The dial has \"Zodiac Swiss\" on it and has shiny number indicators and hands. The crystal is yellow toned and comes up in the middle. The case has some scratches from use. The back of the case has \"10K Gold Filled D& A\" on it. The inside of the back case has \"Zodiac 550173\" on it.
The movement has \"Zodiac LTD Swiss 970 Seventeen 17 Jewels Unadjusted\" on it (see photos). The watch is 36mm from lug to lug and case us 25mm wide including the crown.
The watch band is a beautiful etched band. It is marked \"Mexico RSS\" (see photos). I do not see the sterling mark, but I am sure that it is Sterling. It is a heavy band and is quite attractive. The band has a buckle catch. The RSS is the makers name (Rafael Ruiz Saucedo) a wonderful Mexican designer. The band is approx 7 1/2\" long laid out from end to end of buckle. The band weighs approx 48 gram (with watch crystal & front case) or 31.2 dwt.
