For your consideration is this magnificent 10 strand turquoise and multi-gems Fetish waterfall necklace that is an example of collaborative efforts of Zuni and Navajo at its best, circa 1970s! The fetishes were carved by an unknown Zuni artisan and hand strung by Navajo Mary Ann Tully, who worked for the Frank Turpen Bear Toes Trading post in the 1970s.

This spectacular necklace features over 100 hand carved fetishes of birds and animals in various gemstones, including Coral, Turquoise, Pipestone, MOP, Jet and Serpentine. The centerpiece is a large turquoise Thunderbird fetish. These amazing carvings were hand strung into ten strands in a cascading waterfall style. Each fetish are spaced with handmade heishi beads, splashes of turquoise and coral beads. The ends are finished with penn shell heishi and turquoise beads that come together at the sterling silver cones. This gorgeous fetish necklace measures from 24\" at the shortest to about 32\" at the longest. Closes with hook-eye clasp. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
