This concho belt includes 20 Zuni inlaid silver pieces. The buckle has the much sought after Cardinal motif with 2 cardinals in red coral, along with turquoise, abalone, and other stones. There are ten round conchos, each with a different bird, including blue jay, hummingbird, and eight others. In addition there are nine spacer pieces that also feature beautiful inlay on silver. This belt was purchased in Santa Fe in the 60s. It has the JBH mark of artist John B. Hawley. This is a rare vintage item. The belt is 43\" long. The buckle is 3 1/2\" by 2 1/2\" and each concho is 2 1/4\" in diameter. The spacers are 1\" wide and 2 1/4\" long.
