For sale is theshirt and pants of a very rare and early Superman costume, made by the Ben Cooper Co. The costume dates back to the 1950\'s and perhaps 40\'s. The cape is missing. The Shirt is in good condition, measuring 18\" long, with16\" arms, and a 6\"neck. Some of the color in the \"S\" has run, but all 4 of the original buttons on the back of the shirt are there. There is a statement on the bottom front of the shirt, next to an image of Superman with his arm around a boy in a Superman costume saying, \" Remember, this suit won\'t make you fly, only Superman can fly.\" The pants measure 31\"long, 22\" from the crotch to the foot. Some of the red color on the upper back(butt) area is bleached out as if the area was exposed to sun light for a long time. The costume is cotton, and I believe the first Superman costume on the market. Please E-mail with anyquestions.
