Here is yet another exquisite pair of cast bronze door knobs and backer plates from my collection! Today we feature a handsome set dating way back to late 1800\'s or early 1900\'s, probably Art Deco era. First, the knobs; a matching set with bold design not only on the upper side but also underneath, providing a somewhat ornate yet understated design that would compliment any decor. Knobs measure about 2.25\" diameter; screws and spindle included, of course.Plates are also solid bronze with intricate, graceful casting/design. Note the raised, angled, etched knob holes/collars, setting them apart from similar vintage hardware. Plates measure 5.5\" x 1.75\", with approx 3/8\" raised collars. A heavy, well made set that not only looks good together, but will last for many, many more years. This is another one for your collection!
