Vintage biscuit barrel + liner segmented wood old chunky Treen turned woodenware:

A chunky segmented turned wood biscuit barrel, made of vertical sections of different sorts of wood.
It has clearly had many decades of family use.I do not know for certain how old it is, but I would guess that it dates from around the 1950s.
It is scuffed, scratched and it certainly looks its age.Complete with plastic inner \"liner\".There is no maker\'s name on this item - just the remains of a sticker on the inside of the lid, as you can see.Plastic \"pine cone\" knob on the lid.The main handle is made of metal - it is a little out of shape, as you can see.
Note: I have photographed the barrel with some fruit, just to give an idea of size; the fruit is obviously not included in the sale!

Size:

5 1/2 inches (14 cm) tall (including the lid, but NOT the condition, with no major damage, but a little scruffy.

Plenty of small knocks, small scratches and surface marks, as shown.

The handle is slightly out of shape, as you can see.

Still, it is a cheerful item, strong and solidly made, and with plenty of life left in it.
