Vintage Bronze? Brass? Candle Stick Holder Pair Set Lot 2 Chelsea Clock Company For Sale
Pair of vintage brass or bronze candle sticks that measure 10 inches tall with a 4 1/4 inch square base. These candle holders are marked on the bottom Chelsea Clock Company and are in used condition with chinks... scratches... small 1/16 inch chink on one body. These are not perfect. The marks seem to be mostly on on the very top edges, bottom rims are not as marred up. Very bottom of candlesticks have screws which once held wood bases. 5 of the 8 screws are missing. Metal stamped on bottom " CHELSEA CLOCK CO". One base has a flat head screw in center, one has been replaced at some point with a 1/2 inch bolt. Also numbers on bottom read the number "2" and one has a 226 P, other has a 218 P ....this one also has a number 539 stamped twice on bottom. The candlesticks are so heavy for size that is why we are not sure if they are brass or bronze. Each of these candle sticks weigh about 4 1/2 pounds. (These must be the type of candle sticks that they use in the game CLUE)Quite the set of heavy candle holders!
