3 Spools of 1940s Navy Blue Grosgrain!Here are 3 spools of grosgrain ribbon with lots of yardage left on them! I bought these from the estate of a milliner some years ago. They date from the 1940s and all are a dark navy blue. The fabric content isn\'t marked but I believe they\'re cotton. Very good quality on all.

Here\'s what we have:

The first roll is 1 inch wide and 7 yards long.

The second roll is 1.5 inches wide, and 7 yards, 31 inches long. It\'s on a spool which is (partially) lined in paper.

The third spool is also 1.5 inches wide and just about an inch shy of 10 yards long. It\'s also partially on a paper lining. Like the one above, the paper is old and brittle.

So, in total there are 24 yards, 30 inches of vintage grosgrain here.

I\'ll also include a vintage card of 4 yards of round rayon hat elastic, made by the Geo. S. Colton Elastic Web Co. of Easthampton, Mass. Not from the same estate, but also quite old! Though very vintage, it still is springy.

All are in excellent condition, ready for your projects. Some of the outer layers could use a light pressing or dusting. Comes from a clean, pet-free, smoke-free home.
