Glass is in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. Measurements are: 7-1/4\" depth (down from ceiling), 7\" diameter, glass opening at top 4\", opening of metal fixture part at top 1-1/8\". You may need to remove the old metal section to use on a modern light fixture. The screws don\'t turn easily so I left the top on for the photos. It\'s difficult to find old shades for your vintage house.
