Research shows this is a Vintage hand painted Carved Japanese Kokeshi Wood doll Artist Signed. The estate this doll came from was prior military that lived all over the world. I\'m not sure of the age. This doll is artist signed. I will have listed another Kokeshi wood doll from the same estate. The Kokeshi wood doll measures approximately 8 3/4\" tall. The base is approximately 4 1/2\" x 3\". The Kokeshi wood doll is in good vintage condition, She is wrapped in a kimono that has carvings holding a fan with painted flowers. The figure is in a natural wood with the painted fan and face. This is a real artistic depiction of the Kokeshi doll it is signed on the right corner of the base. It appears that the doll is hand painted.
