Rare industrial age Woodward Machine Co Utilight factory decommissioned machinist shop task lamp. Heavy duty cast iron base, arms, and hinges allow adjustment to many different positions.

This articulating task lamp was manufactured in Detroit Michigan and would have originally been a machine mounted lamp that can be mounted to a wall or desk. Cast iron Base allows for vertical or horizontal installation of the lower steel shaft to mount to your wall, desk or work bench.

Similar to OC White, Faries, McCrosky, Fostoria, Dayton, and other industrial era shop work lamps.

Lamp has been cleaned to remove years of grime and most rust, but leaving a beautiful patina to proudly display its heritage. Cast iron components have been coated with a clear gloss coat for protection. Light socket has been repaired with a new old stock vintage paddle switch but retained original Bryant socket shell. Shade is a black glossy finish as found and has some signs of oxidization around the edges and neck, but overall in great condition. Lamp has been rewired with light brown twisted cotton cloth wire with a 6.5\' cord. Lamp is approximately 3\' at full extension.
