This gorgeous necklace is hand wrought in sterling silver and set with 18, genuine, Blue Gem turquoise (the turquoise is much more beautiful in person!). One good way to know a piece is really vintage is by the stones and the settings. Older pieces will have bezels and settings that are made to fit the stones which is why they are all different. Newer pieces will have stones that are machined to fit pre made bezels that are the same size and shape. The necklace is 29" long. The Naja measures 4 7/8" by 4 3/8". The blossoms all measure approximately 2 1/4" by 1 1/4". The hand wrought, sterling beads are 1/4". It is strung with heavy gage, sterling silver, foxtail chain. It weighs 430 grams. I see no markings on this piece which is not uncommon in older pieces. I see no damage to this piece other than some normal wear from use and very light tarnish. It tested positive for sterling by acid test. This is a highly recommended piece for collectors. I am happy to discount on multiple purchases made in the same sale week only.
