Description:
It is rare, early prewar Montblanc from the Danishfactory.It is the No. 2 model, with No. 2 Montblanc nib - however, this is an early model so the nib does not have a number.
Celluloid model with milled ebonite cap top with the iconic white snowflake and great, crisp imprints (please see photos).

Early model with Patent Angemeldet (=Patent Applied For.)

Item condition:

Very good vintage condition considering the pen\'s age. Some vintage patina to the ebonite cap top, milling in perfect condition. White star is made of casein (galalith) and the colour if off-white, which isconsistent with age. Imprints are excellent, crisp and fully readable. Trim in nice condition. The only point to note is someshrinkage to the barrel - the barrel is very slightly warped which is barely noticeable - please see photos.Filling system:
Push button filler. Restored with a new ink sac and ready to write.
