It is that time of year. Time when a nice cup of tea still feels good on a cool morning as you sit on the back porch and watch the garden grow. This painting has elements from the changing seasons moving from winter into spring.

I have noticed a lot of Chinese knock offs and outright copies of artists who work hard at their craft. Please do your best to support those of us who are the original creators of these pieces. If someone is selling a painting for the cost of the canvas alone, you may be getting a copy. ( although some of us put a very low priced piece on sale to draw people into our Galleries so that isn\'t always the case. ) I encourage you to do a little research before you buy and of course, I encourage you to buy from me :-). When you purchase from me you are getting a one of a kind, unique, hand painted, original oil painting, conceived and executed by me.

I support St Judes to honor the memory of my dad who always supported them as he felt such gratitude that his children were born healthy that he wanted to give hope to those who were not so fortunate.

I usually send larger paintings by fed x and smaller ones by priority mail. If you are considering a purchase of more than one painting, I will combine shipping. Just ask and I will adjust the shipping charges.

Please pay using the pay pal option. I request that you pay within three days of purchase and write to me if there is a reason you can not pay within three days.

This painting was done beginning with an interesting old piece of sheet music which I created a still life around.. I believe it\'s size 20 x 28 and is framed.I live in a family of musicians so every now and then music sneaks into a painting :-) If you have any questions don\'t hesitate to write.

Margaret\'s paintings were recently chosen to be featured in the Oklahoma State Capital Building beginning July 2012 and running through September of the same year.

I ship small items through the US Postal service with either standard first class or Priority shipping. Larger packages are shipped via FED X usually. If you prefer to insure, add a direct or indirect signature, or pick up at Fed X, please let me know. Some of these services have small fees attached to them but I want to make sure you are comfortable with the shipping method. If you live in a heavily foot traffic neighborhood you may want to consider this option. If you are overseas please note that there may be additional tarriffs and fees charged by your country that I am unaware of. These fees are your responsibility. Also sometimes there are delays as packages sit in customs for a week or so. That always makes me nervous but I haven\'t lost a package yet although it did take 40 days to get one to a buyer in Australia once :-(. That is not the norm though.

Any painting that you would like to have framed instead of unframed, please send me a note and I would be happy to do a private sale for you. I teach painting at an art and frame shop and can send you several framing ideas and prices and send photos of your painting of choice in a selection of frames. This will effect the free shipping as I will need to add a few dollars to cover the increase in weight. That will be minimal on small paintings.
