I do not know much about this old carousel other than I like it. it does have some condition issue so please look closely at the pictures as they are part of the description. 2 of the candles have fallen off and I will leave to buyer to re-glue where they wish. There is some smoke staining on the bottom of some of the blades and one looks to have caught fire as part is missing. The tree itself is really unusual and I have not seen another like it. This was well used. one of the candle holders is bent but I imagine that could also be repaired. The candles here are a little small for the candle holders so I have always just used a bit of wax to secure the candles. You must be careful as it is very fragile. I think one of the fan pieces has also been repaired but still so unique and beautiful.
