Bought this record album (33 1/3rpm) for my dad many years ago; found it in the basement after he passed. From 1966 and still sealed in original packaging (never opened/played) is \"Polish Heritage\", a record made in honor of the thousandth anniversary of Christianity in Poland. Selections include \"A Thousand Years\" (original musical narrative of the history of Christianity in Poland for chorus, speaker, organ, percussion); \"Millennium Portraits\" (New choral settings of famous Polish legends); \"Hymns of Freedom\" (Written in the 1800s for Polish refugees in America). Psalm 89 is contained on this record in a new musical setting composed especially for this album. Other selections include \"Hymn For Poland\", \"The Nun\'s Hymn\", \"Polish War Song\", and more! Performed by the Schola Moderna (one of America\'s former foremost professional choruses under the direction of American conductor Ronald Dean Konetchy.
