Vntg carved Meerschaum eagleclaw pipe w/case from David P Ehrlich Co Boston Ma:

I have an estate pipe, of beautifully carved meerschaum, of an eagle claw clutching smooth bowl. 6 inches long Believed to be purchased from David P. Ehrlich of Boston, Mass as that is where the case is from, although there is no Ehrlich stamp on the pipe itself, which leads me to believe it could have been imported by Ehrlich. Made in Turkey is stamped on the lucite mouthpiece. The pipe is well used with markings on the bowl and has aged to a golden brown. Not sure of the date of manufacture, but I know Ehrlich stopped importing pipes in the 60's. I am definitely not a pipe enthusiast or expert, so feel free to ask any questions and I'll do my best.
