For yourconsideration we are offering this wonderful pair of Nora Fenton Designsceramic porcelain? sleeping resting duck figures. I am not sure, however; Ibelieve the pair may be a male and female duck. The figurines are painted ablue green design. The design appears to be hand painted. The design has lovelydetail on the feathers and face. The body has floral design painted on the bodyas well as a feather design. The shape of the figurines suggest that the pairmay be ducks, a male and female. I am not positive that they are ducks. I amnot sure of the age of the pair. When purchased, we were told that they werepurchased sometime maybe in the early 60\'s. I cannot be positive. The largerduck has a lovely design with the ends of his wings tipped upward, and his headis looking forward on his body. The smaller duck figure has her head slightlyturned and her wings are flat. The larger duck has the original sticker on thebottom which is in a scroll shape with numbers hand written along the top andNora Fenton in capital letter printed with Designs printed below and handcrafted by master artisans at the bottom. The smaller duck does not have itssticker. I was told they were purchased together. I am guessing based on thefact that they are a matched pair, that the smaller duck is also a Nora FentonDesign. Each piece has small felt pads on the bottom. I do not know if thesewere original or added by the original owners. The ducks are in good condition.There are a few original glaze flaws at the tip of the smaller ducks one wing.There are also some stains in the ceramic area which is unglazed and set on thetable surface. The smaller duck has a piece of ceramic on the bottom which alsoappears to be original to the firing of the piece. The larger duck measures approximately8 & 3/4\" long and it measures approximately 4 & 3/4\" wide.This larger piece measures approximately 4 & 1/4\" tall. The smallerpiece measures approximately 7 & 1/4\" long and it measuresapproximately 4 & 1/4\" wide. This piece measures approximately 3 &5/8\" tall. This pair will make a fine addition to your collection. I takegreat care in packaging your purchase. The cost of all packaging materials andhandling is included in the shipping costs.
