Volkstedt Richard Eckert Rudolstadt 1894 Cherub Wheelbarrow Figurine Vase Rare .This mark is for Richard Eckert Volkstedt Rudolstadt Thuringia Germany founded in 1894 by Eckert producing \"LUXURY\" porcelain wares. This mark was registered and entered on to the RWZR ( Reich-waren-zeichen-register) on the 27/03/1894 (Furstliches Amtsgericht Rudolstadt No.11). The mark was withdrawn in 1896 when a certain company demanded the removal of the Blue Crossed Sword mark, so as you can imagine this particular back stamp is extremely rare, desirable and very collectable as it was only allowed to be used for two years. Check photos for condition. Wheelbarrow handle has been broken and repaired at the end. One side is off completely the handle but it will be glued so restoration can be done to this beautiful piece. Check photo for condition flower petals could have small damage but check listing to see item properly. Very rare piece. Wheelbarrow wheel actually is a working wheel! 8 inches in length, 7 inches in height.
