Vintage 1920\'s 30\'s Art Deco Cast Iron table or desk lamp that is seldom seen with the original shade. Very nice parlor, study or library lamp. Great Art Deco design, gothic influence as well. Twin lamp arm with 2 sockets. Heavy parchment or paper shade that is artist signed, wooded scene, trees, woods grass and field. I am unsure of the exact composition of the shade material, it is not glass, mica or wood. Shade has some curve or bow at front facing panel as seen in first pic. The shade is not translucent, first pic shows lamp on with (2) 60 watt bulbs installed, no light coming through the shade. Darkened brass or bronze appearance to lamp body. Swirled creamy yellow custard agate spacer. Lamp & shade are surface clean, no odors. There are 2 bulbs, 1 at either end of the upper lamp arm, just under the bulbs slid over the paper candle drip socket tubes are white plastic diffusers. 1 diffuser has some discoloring or yellowing with some bubbling- blistering on the inside, looks like too hot of a bulb had been installed at some point in time, excessive heat. Paper drip tube covers show some wear. Shade is for the most part damage free except for 2 spots that have very small pieces missing, 1 is at the edge up top, shown in pics. There is a small turn switch mounted in the base. The switch is a new modern replacement. All of the wiring has been replaced with new modern lamp cord, dark brown in color. Tested for safe proper function. Very nice lamp, not over restored. Shown illuminated, bulbs are not included. Overall height with shade and finial installed is 26 3/4\", width at the base is 10 1/4\". Shade measures 17 1/4\" in length at the bottom, 10 1/4\" in length at the top, 7 5/8\" in height.
