I have up for sale a super neat piece of vintage Patriotic Americana - dating to circa 1920s to 40s 52-1/2\" tall wood carved UNCLE SAM figure in superb original paint. I am not sure if this was originally a Mail Box Figure or just how it was used. It is approx 1 to 1-1/8\" , basically a profile - one piece except for the arms and pockets - which add dimension. It weighs approx 9 lbs as you see it. approx 10\" across from the back of the coat tail to the front of his belly. Approx 3\" thick at the arms and pockets area.
The red , white , and blue paint is really nice - nice age wear but not too much. There front brim of the top hat is broken off and missing and there is a small piece missing on the foot as well. As you can see the figure was originally mounted to some sort of railing or something of that sort. The paint is age and alligatored , some minor splits and wear to the wood. I has not been tinkered with , paint is original. It weighs approx 9 lbs as you see it.
It is in Very Good Original - Estate Fresh As Found Condition .
This is a neat piece of Americana - a Great Decorator Item - sure to please.

I do not believe that I have a box that will accommodate the figure and will have a box specially made at a packaging store, because of this handling time will be approx 5 days.
