Very scarce 1930\'s Morton Pottery - End of Day - miniature swirl vase. This little vase is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. There are some minor specks around the outer rim. They appear very natural so I believe these may have occurred during the dipping process. There is also a small makers bump just inside the rim. Please see all close-up photos. Vase measures 3 7/8\" tall x 2 1/4 across middle. Outer painted area has a flat bisque feel while the inside is glazed, as it was intended to hold water. Swirled colors include earthy shades of greens, browns, white, black and blood red. This was achieved by dipping them into water on which water spar enamel was floated.
