Up for sale is a very cool men\'s vintage 1930\'s to 1940\'s double breasted and pinstriped wool zoot suit jacket. The label is Irving\'s, University Way. It is a dark brown color made of nice quality wool with a thin light gray pinstripe. The jacket has no back vent and has oversize lapels and shoulder pads. It is also double breasted, with two rows of brown buttons, 6 total in the front and has 3 matching sleeve cuff buttons on each cuff. The jacket has shoulder pads and is double breasted with tailoring at the waist, a classic 40\'s look. It also has a brown satiny lining in the upper back, and sides and the sleeves are also lined. The jacket has two welted jet hip pockets, and an upper breast pocket and one inside lining pocket. I would consider the jacket to be in very good vintage condition with a couple small imperfections. It has a small u shaped repair from a tear, that was repaired with a bonded patch of matching fabric underneath. The repair is only noticeable upon close inspection, please see last photo. There is also one small pinhole that I could note. I would estimate the size of the jacket to be a men\'s size small, possibly a medium, but please refer to the size chart below for a more accurate fit. I am selling the jacket only, there are no trousers sold with it. The hat and tie were used for the photo\'s and are not sold with the jacket. Please email with any questions you may have.
