A vintage/original c.1947-1950 Korean War-era Lot of 11 Regular 8mm (12 boxes are present but one Ansco reel is empty) - all 3\" 25\' Metal Reels - 3 Color & 8 Black & White - Amateur Home Moviesfrom a US Navy Sailor serving on the USS Hollister (DD-788). Most of these films have descriptions written on the boxes from locations like: San Diego, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, Yokosuka/Fukuoka/Sasebo, Japan, Northern Korea Patrol and so on. I have checked the first few feet of most of the films & they seem to match the written descriptions.Visually they appear to be in nice original condition showing light storage wear w/ no vinegar smell. The boxes show a bit more wear (see pics).
