Description
This angel is absolutely stunning! She dates to the 1950\'s, and is in excellent vintage condition. She has a round wood head with hand painted features and dark gold painted hair; her features are faded, and the wood has a lovely aged patina. She has foil (gold on the front, silver on the back) wings, a foil halo and collar, and a foil book in her hands. She is made from translucent straws that have a lot of gold glitter on the bottom of her dress. She is held together with gold cord. She is large, measuring about 10" tall. She would be lovely at the top of a tree, or on a table top. She isn\'t marked. She comes in her original box, which is also unmarked. The box is plain, and slightly smashed on the sides, with a tear and a slight missing chunk on the edge of the top. She has some flaws - age related - her foil has some creases, but she has no tears or damage. I have lots of other vintage Christmas decorations, so take a look!
