Lamp was rewired and has a new cord and plug. It is very old and we did this first thing before testing it. We have used it for 2 years now and it brightly lights up a room. No hums or sounds. Works perfectly!
Vintage 1950\'s / 60\'s Rattan Floor Lamp
I bought this beautiful lamp with a huge set of vintage 50\'s Ritts Tropitan furniture from a Huge mansion near Graceland in Memphis. This was an entertainers home at one point which was filled with unbelievable treasures from this era. I do not have the space for a floor lamp in my sun room so I am selling this gorgeous lamp. It is a very rare find and the nicest one I have ever seen. Here are it\'s features:
- Beautiful heavy lamp with a wooden base and rattan shaft.
- These lamps are very rare and hard to find from this era. They sell for a lot of money online such as on 1st dibs.
- Adjustable arm to move the shade anywhere you wish. It moves smoothly and in every direction but up and down.
- The lamp has a thick milk glass shade with a modern grid pattern in it.
- No cracks or chips and says CORNING stamped inside it.
- Great thing about lamps with glass shades are that they can be washed off and easy to clean.
- Standard size socket inside E26 bulb size.
- Condition: Excellent, was rewired and has a new cord and plug. Was cleaned and polished. A few scratches on the wood base and some corrosion on the metal arm pieces that hold the shade. Glass shade has no cracks, chips or flea bites. Ready to USE all you need is a light bulb.
- CREATOR The label is very worn and says Lamp House (blank) & Co., Los Angeles - Cannot find the company in my research I\'ve done. Very rare.
